Reiki · definition
A ceremonial initiation used in many Reiki teaching systems when a student enters or advances within a level of practice.
How the term is used
Practitioners may describe attunement as energetic initiation, empowerment, transmission, or formal entry into a lineage.
Why it matters
It is a core term for explaining Reiki training without presenting spiritual language as medical fact.
Where this fits in a practice
The guides explain the idea in context; the service pathways are there when reading is not enough. Educational content only — nothing here is medical or mental-health care.
